There've been some performance related issues reported with 2.0-beta2 on
Tru64 and SunOS multi-processor machines.

We've tried to have a look whether it was SMP-related. I tested on Linux
with SMP-kernel but without any hassles. At the moment, we try to find SMP
machines running with either Tru64 or SunOS to verify if there exist
performance problems.

Would be nice if someone who is able to perform these tests can contribute
(simply a LanTest over GBit Ethernet would do the job)
