Bugs item #767935, was opened at 2003-07-08 13:45 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by browlands You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=767935&group_id=12694 Category: agent Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Proxy support ignores community string if -c option omitted Initial Comment: Proxy support should allow for retrieving the community string from the incoming request to be proxied if the proxy statement in the snmpd.conf file does not contain the '-c' option. Fix is forthcoming. Fix is to allow for omission of '-c' option when token statement parsed and to use the request community string on the session when the request is forwarded. ("on the session" == place c.s. temporarily on session data structure if current c.s. is NULL). dan...@su... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bob Rowlands - Sun Microsystems (browlands) Date: 2003-09-24 07:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=768592 Patch 811687 has been submitted for this fix in the V5-0-patches branch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=767935&group_id=12694 |
