Category: mib2c generated code Group: linux Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Raffles (finking) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: mib2c.int_watch.conf:99: has LOG_ERROR instead of LOG_ERR Initial Comment: In NetSNMP 5.2.2, when using mib2c with /usr/local/share/snmp/mib2c.int_watch.conf, the generated code uses "LOG_ERROR" for the message severity. There is no such severity as "LOG_ERROR" in net-snmp/library/snmp_logging.h, which means the generated code doesn't compile: mkdir .libs gcc -I../../include -I. -I../../agent -I../../agent/mibgroup -I../../snmplib -g -O2 -Dlinux -c processor.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/processor.lo processor.c: In function `init_processor': processor.c:175: error: `LOG_ERROR' undeclared (first use in this function) processor.c:175: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once processor.c:175: error: for each function it appears in.) Presumably the .conf file should be corrected ("LOG_ERROR" replaced with "LOG_ERR" at line 99). Have made this patch locally and it fixes the problem. None of the other .conf files shipped with 5.2.2 have this problem.
