Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Oliver Lehmann (olivleh1) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: memory leakage on Freebsd/alpha Initial Comment: Hi, I'm owning an Alpha running FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE and net-snmp 5.2.1. I just start it (with /usr/local/sbin/snmpd -L -p/var/run/snmpd.pid) a day ago, and now: 499 root -20 0 215M 128M swread 219:47 0.00% 0.00% snmpd Normally it takes more than one day to "eat" that much memory. But it is reproducable... everytime you start it, a random time (days, weeks) later my phys mem is 100% in use - mostly by net-snmp ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Oliver Lehmann (olivleh1) Date: 2005-06-10 06:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=344876 that patch you mentioned (I attached it) is allready in our FreeBSD/ports tree since Jan 2005 - so it doesn't fixes my problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Story (rstory) Date: 2005-06-09 23:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=76148 can you try the patch attacted to bug #1103644 and see if it fixed the problem? http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1103644&group_id=12694&atid=112694 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=1203674&group_id=12694 |
