(And I'm not sure "Yes" is a particularly informative answer in this case!) It's subsequently clicked that you probably mean things like: typedef int (SNMPCallback)(int majorID, int minorID, void *serverarg, void *clientarg); Yes? And you're proposing that we adopt a naming convention such as typedef int (Netsnmp_Callback)(int m1, int m2, void *sa, void *ca); Yes? If so, then I'd happily go along with that.
