I'm running the main agent (snmpd) listening on a TCP
socket for agentx connections, ie. "AgentXSocket
localhost:705". If I do "telnet localhost 705" and hit
return, snmpd starts hard-looping and doesn't answer
any more requests. Of course the telnet protocol will
look like rubbish to an agentX protocol endpoint, but it
shouldn't self-destruct. Netsnmp 5.1.2 on Solaris 8.

Linux OS is vulnerable as well (tested on 5.0.7 and 5.0.9
versions).
Additionally snmpd consumes huge cpu resourses (50% till
100% depends on HW).
