No

nesDS 1.3a doesn't support 32GB microSD card. Crashes and screen freezes when saving state or loading a ROM.

I already formatted my microSD with SD Formatter and didn't solve the problem. Hope this info helps.

Anyway, this is an excellent job. Best NES emulator on the web. Thank you!

Sorry, I dont own DSTWO cart, neither 32GB microSD, so I can not test and
fix it. It is a long time since I last updated it.
Also sorry for the so late reply.

    Best regards.

    Just posting MY experience with this issue;

Now Using DSTWO NDSLite (FEWER ISSUES & FASTER BOOT TIME) with a 32GB MicroSD & having MAJOR freezes (NESDS 1.3a) and file SAV corruptions.

When I used the DSTWO / NESDS on a N3DS it caused the DSTWO to no longer be recognized until removal of DSTWO / 32GB card & reset 3DS.

Happened mainly trying to load ZELDA I / ZELDA II & Castlevania 2.

Similar issues with S8DS (Sega GameGear / Master System). But all other emulators seem to work well.

NOW, going to go back to a 16GB MicroSD & see if it works. LOVE the classics & NESDS is BETTER than NesterDS.

UPDATE::::::: I've tried using 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB & 32GB MicroSD cards now with FAT16 & FAT32 formating's. So far the only thing that works best is 16GB FAT32 using a NEWER updated nesds.ini file. I also removed ALL Gesture settings & set up "UP & SELECT" to savestate & "DOWN & SELECT" to restorestate save points & ONLY on save point 1. Way fewer lock-ups & freeze-ups but it only works about 90% of the time. If anyone needs, I can upload & share the ini file I found that works better.

    ORIGINAL files link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ld324g431197kv2/NESDS%201.3b%20ORIGINAL.zip?dl=0

    MODIFIED files link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0psvz2lwms3i4bh/NESDS%201.3b%20MODIFIED.zip?dl=0

NOTE: the new shortcuts to LOADSTATE ('UP' & 'X'), to SAVESTATE ('DOWN' & 'X'). Just choose which state number (0-9) first (I choose 0,1,2 or 9).

I am experiencing the same problem. I run the NesDS on the DSTwo card on my Nintendo DS. It worked great until the latest NesDS update. Now whenever I try to save state, the screen freezes. Is there any way I can help you test this?

I should have mentioned. I am using a different memory card than the other poster so it might not be SD card related. I am using a Kingston Micro SD HC (8gb)

I want to Thank You. The update works great with save state, load state, settings & more but ONLY on ACE3DS Plus & DSTT (NDSTT). Doesn't load at all on iSmart Premium (iSmartDS) anymore (White screen only). And on DSTWO (Super Card DSTWO) it loads great & quick & Load State works great but everytime you try to Save State it freezes up on any game. The good thing is that it did save the state because when you turn it off & back on & Load state it loads it fine, you just can't Save State & continue play without restarting the whole device over again. No R4i testing done because EVERY R4i cartridge I've had corrupts the SD cards (unreadable). You did a GREAT job with the updates because it does work better on certain cards.

Hi Jay. I'm happy to know that! I had a white screen too on my Acekard 2i, but putting the nds file and the ini file in the root of the sdcard fix the issue. I really don't know why. Try to do it with your card.
About DSTWO I did not have this problem,,,,, tried with zelda and other games. Takes a few seconds at the first save state but then works without lag... at last for me :)

Hi Suz. Thank you so much for fixing these bugs. I check on this project every few years. Do you think you might be able to look at the cheat code system to make it functional? We just need to be able to alter values in the 0x0800 to 0x7FFF region.

Did as you suggested & with NESDS files in ROOT works GREAT on DSTWO, NDSTT & ACE3DS but not on iSmart Premium (still has white screen). Still has same issues with DSTWO in dstwoplug folder. I also decided to try a R4i GOLD Pro (2015) card with a 32GB sd card & worked GREAT too. WONDERFUL solution that I think could even work with other issued NDS homebrews. You did WONDERFULLY & Thank You.
