I tried the live ISO and it worked fine. The only problem preventing me going ahead with a full install is that it does not recognise any wifi networks. I do not have same problem with Devuan. I am using a new Toshiba laptop and I do notice during boot it reports "failed to find multicast ipv4" which may point to the problem

Its still early days. Once you install, wifi might run. All isos were created over a wifi connection, uploaded also over a wifi connection. (My laptop's wired connection is long time dead.) If you like the freedom Devuan gives, test all out. This is done to showcase Devuan. :)
