This again cause many of the devices to share IRQ and in my case, this was the problem. Few hours ago someone wrote on this list that acpi in the kernel was bugged in some or other way, and that it was fixed in 2.6.7. It really was fixed :) So, get the latest kernel :) > I tried both dell and ecomm versions of the drivers. I'm using the drivers on the cd i got from Medion. Works here :) > Installed ndis drivers: > bcmwl5 present Hmm, i'm using "bcmwl5a"... On the other hand i'm sure i did use "bcmwl5" earlier, but i can't even get "present" if i try to use it now... It's possible that i remember wrong :) Although, the best hint i can give is to get the latest kernel. It solved the problem in my case. Dunno if you know, but you can scan after AP's with "iwlist wlan0 scan". Oh, i'm atm also using version 0.7 as the cvs version won't compile and neither will 0.8(?). Even though people will react on this: try version 0.7 ;) -- Regards, Vidar Wahlberg |
