Did that, gave the sysctl command but saw no result, did a reboot and then after the modprobe ndiswrapper I saw the wlan0 finding message in the dmesg output. Yippie. The iwconfig command (without args) still did not find it by itself, it just said that eth0 is not wireless and it did not mention wlan0. I just proceeded with the other iwconfig stated in the INSTALL document. I skipped the setting of the network parameters, since we have DHCP where I work. It works now and I am a happy ndiswrapper user. Cheers, David |
