I'm all for making ndiswrapper with as many drivers as possible, but if you want to help with that, the latest version of ndiswrapper is a must. > after unpacking and install via > ndiswrapper -i netwp92b.inf >=20 > I get >=20 > denkbrett:/home/georg/tmp# ndiswrapper -l > installed drivers: > netwp92b invalid driver! Something wasn't installed properly. Run ndiswrapper with "-D" and see /tmp/ndiswrapper.dbg But how come you get some non-trivial output from iwconfig? Either you were looking at another card, or atmel_cs was loaded, preventing ndiswrapper from binding to the device. The later is likely because the native Atmel drivers report the protocol as "IEEE 802.11-DS" (see atmel.c in the kernel). > wrong version of ndiswrapper? 1.28 installed, latest 1.39 available but > not yet tested. The version is not "wrong" per se, but who is going to unearth it to reproduce your problem? --=20 Regards, Pavel Roskin |
