Hi all, I'm new here so sorry if this has been answered before (I did do a search o= f=20 the archive). I had ndiswrapper working nicely with my Netgear USB WG121 until I added mo= re=20 memory (to 1GB) and enabled the high memory support in my kernel as it was= =20 only showing just over 880MB total. As you can guess that sorted the memory= =20 problem but the wireless card stopped working, ndiswrapper complaining that= =20 the windows driver couldn't register the device. I tried re-emerging=20 ndiswrapper (using Gentoo) and reinstalling the windows driver but to no=20 avail so I've had to revert to losing the top 120MB of my RAM. Is this a known issue? I suspect that there's not much anyone but Netgear c= an=20 do about it :( Thanks. Peter Spikings =2D-=20 Computer Science: solving today's problems tomorrow. |
