> Does ndiswrapper appear from a lsmod command? Yes, it does. If I put it in /etc/modules it appears towards the bottom of the list. If I rmmod and insmod it, it appears at the top of the list. But it is in the list. dmesg constantly shows this error though: ndiswrapper version 0.10 loaded (preemt=no,smp=no) ndiswrapper (load_driver:1829): unable to prepare driver In version 0.9 it was (load_driver:1501). But the basic problem is I have no wlan0 device listed in iwconfig and therefor cannot setup the device. Oh hockey puck. Just figured this one out. Originally when I rm'd the old 0.4 driver loadndisdriver was in /usr/sbin. Since then it's been installing in /sbin. So in my curiousity, I ln -s /sbin/loadndisdriver /usr/sbin/loadndisdriver and now it works. Arrrrg. Anyone else with this issue might try this as well. ln -s /sbin/loadndisdriver /usr/sbin/loadndisdriver That seemed to be the magic key. What a pain in the arse. I was previously getting several errors. Hopefully someone else finds this usefull. Thanks, James |
