    Hi,
I installed the NetBeans module as instructed by using the Netbeans update center.

When trying to install the Hibernate Query Tool Bridge I got the following error (see image on this link)
    http://www.littleprod.co.uk/hibError.JPG

So I downloaded it anyway, and then i got this error. (see image via link)
    http://www.littleprod.co.uk/hibError2.JPG

Anyway, so I found "https://hts.dev.java.net/" and i installed the Netbeans module for 0.7 and then re-installed the Hibernate Query Tool Bridge, and it STILL didn't work, now it says that the versions are not matched. (See image via link)

I tried the flash tutorial and it just didn't work, it didn't pop up the database connection dialog when i created the HibernateBean, and then it wouldn't create the Facade for that bean.

    Can anyone help me?
    PLEASE

    Thank you
    Rory

p.s. thanks to the guys who developed this tool, i really can't wait to use it, it looks great, if only i could get the damn thing installed. :)

      6 hours later...

Ok, I have fixed my problem.

If anyone else has the same issues please see my installation guide:

      http://www.littleprod.co.uk/plugins/Hibernate_Plugin_for_NetBeans.zip

Which also contains the required module files

      Thanks
      Rory

I'm sorry that I'm aswering so late. I had to to spend few days with my girlfrend without computer:-). The binaries are not actual. There is another, more simpler way how to install hibernate plugin. Download only module with update center. It will adds a url to update center list.  The module is available here.

        http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/nbxdoclet/sf-netbeans-nbxdoclet-update-0.5.nbm?download

Yersteday I found a bug in code completion. New build will be avalable on autoupdate center this week.

You must update "NBXdoclet module development support" if you want to use it. The module helps to develop plugins in NetBeans. I forgot to increase the specification version in dependency. Do the module is not updated automatically. There is no way in netbeans how to increse specification version automatically.

      Hi Petr

I have always been using the update centre to install the plugin.

Thanks for the update, however, when I try and use the update centre I get this error on the Project Extensions module.

      Thanks
      Rory

p.s. can you confirm that for NBXDoclet to work you need the HTS suite from java.net installed also?

Yes it needs hts from java.net. I use implementation  depency in hts.britge. The last version of hts has different implementation dependency:(. You can change it in manifest of hts.bridge. The next version of hts will provide me fried packages (It is already in CVS).

Has anyone try using this module with NB5.5RC1?
The database configuration form did not come up after creating an HibernateBean Class.
      Thanks

I will have to rebuild it against Nb55
