I am using Navit running on n810 Maemo/Diablo, USA OSM .bin map I recently updated the OSM .bin map for the entire USA from the navit map extractor, all of which was working flawlessly before. I now have a strange problem where a HUGE rectangular shape appears as water in the middle of the United States (surrounding the state of Colorado). I had previously tried downloading individual states starting with Colorado when this problem appeared. I removed all OSM map files, redownloaded the entire USA single .bin file, and checked the color code for the water color in the navit.xml and navitOSD.xml files to see if I could locate this large "water" body or polygon definition. Are there any additional files to check into? I have looked at all ~/.navit files I could find and don't see anything relating to this. The phantom "water" body doesn't appear on openstreetmap. This phantom water sometimes causes the map to flicker between land and water colors while navigating via GPS. Thanks to anyone able to help me resolve this quite annoying problem, Paul |
