  ns_syslog

  Usage:
    ns_syslog ?-facility f -options o -ident i? priority message

   facility    - kernel, cron, authpriv, mail, local0, local1, daemon, 
local2,
                 news, local3, local4, local5, local6, syslog, local7, 
auth, uucp, lpr, user
   options     - list with any of { CONS NDELAY PERROR PID ODELAY NOWAIT }
   ident       - ident is prepended to every message, and is typically 
the program name
   priority    - info, alert, emerg, err, notice, warning, error, crit, 
debug

  Returns:
    nothing
