I think that people who want that 
level of compatibility should take
care of the whole thing. 
This is really not going to bring 
us any further in terms of functionality 
(n)or stability. I would not have 
anything against to "host" a module
in the distribution but I can definitely 
not support it.

Stephen was very kind to provide a nice 
starting point. So we can leave it at
that level IMO.
