Initial Comment:
There have been many requests in the past for HTTP/1.1 
compliance and as much answers like "What exactly do 
you want - the Server still implements a lot of 1.1".

Stephen set up this fine page on the Wiki, an excellent 
starting point:

I would vote to answer the status of HTTP/1.1 
compliance to the inofficial "5.0 roadmap".

(Just to answer - not to implement. This is of course 
another story)
