Initial Comment:
Proposed patch is a simple spooler thread that is
similar to driver thread, all uploads bigger than
readahead are spooled into spooler thread that uses
temp file to keep the data.

Lets go checkin that stuff. It looks allright to me.
There are couple of minor things that I'd change there
but overall I'm satisfied. 

With time we can improve this by adding more control
like stop-upload etc.
