Any updates on this project? It sounds great, and setting up a NAS with my r-pi would be a dream-come-true.
Having truecrypt support, and allowing many devices via usb hub, along with decent samba capabilities would be brilliant. Combining it with media streaming and cloud-syncing would be the best hing ever.

Not yet - unfortunately I've been delayed in getting my Rasberry Pi, so I haven't been able to make a start.
Realistically by the time I get it now, I think it will be close to the end of the summer by the time I can produce something.
I'll take note of your suggestions, and agree they would all be useful features.
When you say cloud syncing, so you mean the NASBerry would act as a cloud service? Running some sort of software that acts like Dropbox?
