#633 Feature REquest: When scanning an ID card on a duplex page scanner have the front and back saved to a single jpeg.
Using the Page scanners from Ambir, Docuscan and the likes if the unit is duplex and set to duplex I would like to see an option where I can specify both sides of the document be in the same image and that I can then autosave that image. If it is a doc that supports multiple pages like PDF or TIFF that it will save the front and the back as the same page. Jpeg that it will save it as one image the facedown front as first image a slight space and then the back image next in the same image.
A vheck box that says: place both sides of a duplex scan in one page/image
Would save a whole lot on scanning in IDs and Cards.
I agree with Mr. Shuman! Need to add an option in NPAS2 to merge scanned images from front and back of ID card into a single page/image. Also, in addition, the option to select whether the back will be below the front or if the back will be next to the front.
