Hello, there seems to be a memory leak that is causing the program to crash when saving scanned files as a pdf. I've scanned 31 pages. When I try to save these scans as a pdf it will get to page 5-7 and then will crash.
I checked task manager the last time I attempted this and at the time it crashed it was using over 1 GB of memory. The error logs show an out of memory error as well.
Please see the attached log file(s) for the errors.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think that it was set to max
quality; but I looked at the profile and the box for max quality was in fact
checked. I have the DPI set at 600.

I'll uncheck this and rescan this manual again to see if this fixes the
    issue.

Does having this option checked normally a problem? If so you might want to
put have a warning pop up about the adverse issues this could cause.

My laptop has 8GB of memory and no other programs are running when this
    occurs.

I've attached the system info in a txt file for this laptop so you can see
the hardware and then version of Windows I'm currently using.

    Thank you,

    David

In your profile, do you have the "Maximum quality" option checked? If you
do, and you're scanning at a high DPI, it's possible that the images simply
won't fit in memory. Other than that I'm not sure what could be causing this
    for you.

Thanks Ben, unchecking that option did allow me to export all the pages to a
pdf without any problems. Plus it only took a minute or so to complete. I
also lowered the DPI to 300.just to be safe.

Thanks again for your quick response.and for creating such a useful program.
It's much better than all of the others I've tried in the past.

    Keep up the great work!

    David

It hasn't come up as an issue before, but it should definitely be handled
better. For technical reasons NAPS2 can't use more than about 1.5GB of
    memory regardless of your system.
