hi,
this perhaps is a bug or driver issue, the original EPSON scan software has no such problem.
printer & scanner, EPSON L4160.
A4 page scan,
resulted offset by 5mm, left side of page has not been scanned as trimmed out, but right hand side has given another unwanted 5mm more.

The result is getting better, tested with L/C/R of Horizontal Alignment, width seems good and down to less than 1mm offset, the setting is with "RIGHT". however, the height & scanning is also found with offset but this time is about 2mm constant, does not matter with horizontal alignment. it is visible with scanned image and also animated GIF. thanks for your help anyway.
