Hello.

Has anyone managed to get NAPS2 to work

under Mac os 12 Monterey

with the scanner of the all in one HP DeskJet 2050 J510 printer

I can't get it to work.

Please try again with the latest beta version 7.0b6 as it has some improvements in Mac scanning reliability.

  I downloaded and installed the version 7 0b6
  but when I want to use the Deskjet I obtain the message:
  "Erreur. Aucun périphérique d'acquisition n'a été trouvé"
  ("Error. No acquisition device was found")

You'll need to set up the scanner with your Mac first:

If you've done that, you can also try scanning with the built-in scanning app and see if it has any problem:

  Unfortunately HP no longer provides a driver for the Deskjet 2050 ...
  and the standard Monterey drivers don't recognize the scanner.
  
  Currently, the only thing that works is the Vuescan software.

Ah yeah, that's an issue. I do want to try to get the HP Linux/Sane drivers working on Mac at some point, but I'm not sure if that will be feasible or not.
