I recommend avoiding the nunit2 task at all and simply switch to <exec> nunit-console like it's done in the Common.Logging project:

   http://netcommon.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/netcommon/projects/logging/trunk/shared/common-project.include?revision=147&view=markup

look for the target "common.run-tests.nunit" or, if you look for ncover integration, "common.run-tests.ncover". This way you stay independent of particular nunit versions.
