When having issues, always start with setting "debug = 5" in nagiosgraph.conf. That will put what is going on in detail into the log file. If the problem is across the board, check for permission issues noted in the log file. If the problem is just a (custom) data set, check the map used to pull data by using the testentry.pl tool
