I have a check, that runs once a day (it is mostly used for graphing data from an external source)..
In nagiosgraph.conf I have added:
heartbeats = rs.*,TSM Backup amount last 24H,.*=172800;.*,.*,.*=600 stepsizes = rs.*,TSM Backup amount last 24H,.*=86400;.*,.*,.*=300
But is this the right way to do it ?

I can't think of another way, so if that works, then use it. And remember, Nagiosgraph is perl, so TIMTOWTDI probably applies.
