I'd like to chime here... We're talking "open source", "free stuff" = here. Granted, Nagios is not for the faint of heart. It takes some = hacking to get it to do what you want it to do... I'm not even there yet = but I just started(expect some more posts from me real soon). =20 I've got extensive experience with commercial products and I can = honestly say that Nagios is not much harder to install. There is even = sample configs in the documentation. The only complaint I have about = those is that they're not related. They're all based on different = scenarios but hey, whatta you expect? =20 Now, if I can only figure out why my mysql implementation aint working = and my nagiosweb stuff aint working either but I'll post on those in new = threads. Hopefully somebody's got some answers. =20 -Jim |
