I merged 2 tours into one new tour and then I deleted the 2 original tours.
With the next import from my watch however the 2 old tours were re-imported again.
Those 2 tours were old tours and certainly not available on my watch, but a backup was available in the import directory.
Should I remove those backup files as well to prevent re-import ?

When you delete tours in MT, they will be reimported when they exist in the import folder because they are identified by their ID which contains the tour start time.
To prevent a re-import you have to delete them everywhere, where MT can find it.
