Release Notes For Version 1.5

Changes since Version 1.0.

Details

As of Rev 12

  • Many Episode parsing updates.
  • --nolookup option, the script won't search on Tvrage or Imdb for a match. This is mainly for checking how the filename parsing performs.
  • Added a generalised SCENE marker detection method, if the title is like "The Quick Brown Fox NEW SCENE MARKER", then the method will remove any words that are in uppercase.
  • A few fixes with Director and Plot retrieval from tvrage.com.
  • If a movie search on Imdb fails, the title is fed into google for a simple spell check.
  • Fixed single quote issues with the database.
  • Covers are now downloaded to where the database says they should go.
  • If the script can find a Series image and an episode image, the series image will be used for the folder image, and the episode image will be the cover. Various fall backs are in place if either are unavailable (IE movies).
  • Titles of episodes are now of the form "Series Title S01E01 Episode Title"
  • If a season number was found but no episode then the title is "Series Title Season 1"
