Anytime an attempt is made to send the archive via Perl/FTP this message is displayed:
Can't use an undefined value as a symbol reference at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/Net/FTP/dataconn.pm line 54.
Using version 1.24.4.
Cancel this bug report. I discovered the problem was due to a incorrect setting in my FTP client, where FTP data connections were getting re-mapped.
