It does sound as if something isn't as it should be, I'd expect around 7mb.
Can you determine if this is related to your Playlist(s) or Hitlist, if so, can it be narrowed to specific tracks.
If you could capture the contents of STDOUT (wvs.exe > t.txt) it might show something.
