I just noticed that Tachyon is now open source:

Has anyone had success using Tachyon in cosimulation with MyHDL?

Yes, I used it for a chip verification a couple years
ago.  At that point there was a memory leak that occurred
with Tachyon that we couldn't figure out but it didn't
occur with Modelsim (VPI memory leak).

You should be able to use the CVER VPI module without
modifications to run cosim with tachyon.

I just tried the OSS CVC, the memory leak is still there.
