Thanks for pointing out, I'll wait for it! ;-)
The work-around I just tried is quite clumsy, using conversion functions
(and taking care that signal assignments go in the correct direction).
So, as soon as you have something: I'm very much interested.
I was trying to create an AXI subsystem for Altera Cyclone V boards...
