[myhdl-list] Prerequisites to run the MyHDL regression test

I happen to work under Windows (8.1) using PyDev, Sigasi VHDL editor and 
Impulse vcd-viewer plug-ins in Eclipse. It seems to me that most others 
work under Linux, though. 
What are the prerequisites to run the MyHDL regression tests? And can it 
be done under Windows? I tried some of them manually but all of them 
returned a lot of 'False' results.
