I've watched the webinar and I was quite impressed. I'm actually waiting for Cocotb to support Microsoft Windows (planned: Q3/2014) to try it out. The part you're referring to is called the Generic Procedural Interface (GPI), and it seems to be written in C. Regards, Guy.
