I looked on that page and saw that they also host TurboGears and Django

There is a page about all kind of python web frameworks available:

TurboGears looks pretty slick, I watched a movie done by the creator.
But it seems like there is more work necessary to just get the basic
page going, what in contrast is already provided by Plone.
