Because of dokuwiki acl restrictions, it's too dangerous to
enable this in general. Unlike data pages, media files are not
versioned or stored in an attic when removed; so any registered
user could permanently delete any media file.

The are 3 options, depending on the level of inconvenience:
- just use a workaround as you did now
- mail me and ask to remove a certain file
- ask me to set up a special namespace (e.g. users:username) for
   you and to give you full permissions there.
