Hello, avid followers of the most rapidly advancing driver project this side of "A USB dongle for an inconceivable piece of useless software." As you have seen, development has been rather slow since I picked it back up in October. There has been one main reason for this: I haven't been able to find my blue I/O dongle. You know, the one that lets you actually /use/ the card (VGA in/out, composite and s-video in). I've been putting off ordering the $6 replacement, expecting it to turn up "any day now." Finally, I've given in to the reality of virtual black holes swallowing computer hardware and ordered a new one. So, hopefully, I'll be able to do some meaningful development rather than "now compiles with the latest kernel and does exactly the same next-to-nothing it did before." Life should be pretty easy after that, what with the I2C drivers for NXT200x chips available. Here's what would still be helpful: People with an adventuring spirit to take a look at the TL880 register list at http://tl880.sf.net/reglist.html and play with some of the registers on their cards while running the MyHD (or HiDTV or HiPix or etc.) software in Windows, using the TL880Spy tool. That's all for now. Mike Bourgeous _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
