I'm basically in the same boat. I've got a machine with a couple of HD3000s which I need to upgrade the kernel on and I've got a MDP-120 sitting on the shelf waiting to be tested and/or to assist in development. Due to other unsupported hardware I didn't pick up the reigns of development myself yet (SATA DVD/CD drive).
