MyAddressBook / News: Recent posts

We're still here!

Despite appearances, the MyAddressBook project is not completely dead! I've just been extremely bogged down with work and other projects. Hopefully some more improvements and bugfixes should make an appearance within the next month or so. For a taste of what could be in store, see the current bug list: http://myab.sf.net/listbugs.php

Of course, as always, anyone is welcome to submit patches. Please attach them to a bug in Bugzilla, or send them to the MyAB-devel mailing list. See http://myab.sf.net/?page=mailinglists.html for info on how to subscribe to the lists.

MyAddressBook v0.1.1 released - major bugfix release

A bugfix release of MyAddressBook, version 0.1.1, has been released. This fixes a number of important security flaws, and a few major functionality bugs. All MyAddressBook users are recommended to upgrade.

Note that MyAddressBook is still alpha-quality, and has not been thoroughly tested. You can report bugs or suggest new features in the Bugzilla system (http://myab.sourceforge.net/bugs). Please feel free to ask any questions or discuss the product on the MyAB-users mailing list (http://myab.sourceforge.net/?page=mailinglists.html).

MyAddressBook bug tracker has moved

The bug tracker and feature request tracker for MyAddressBook have moved to a Bugzilla installation elsewhere. This means a few extra useful features for developers, but most importantly it means a different place to report bugs and feature requests.

To reach the new Bugzilla system, please follow the link from the project's home page (http://myab.sourceforge.net).

Thanks for your cooperation in this transfer.

MyAddressBook v0.1.0 (alpha) released

The first release of MyAddressBook on Sourceforge, v0.1.0, was released yesterday. This is alpha-quality software: although it's fairly stable, it hasn't yet been thorougly tested, and many more features are planned for the future.
