It would be nice to receive notifications if there is an update post to a topic, either for any topic or for topics that are being watched.

Would it be possible to modify the PHP to make a modification to a set wiki page (say "Forum Log") when a post is made. If the modification contained the post title and author, that would be visible in recent changes and give an idication to check the forum?

I'm not a PHP programmer unfortunately. Sorry
