I can play music via slimserver, no problem.
On windows, I'm running a slightly older version of VLC 0.8.6b (on purpose, because the telnet interface is broken on newer versions)
For the life of me, I can not stream a DVD to the mvpmc!!!!
File, Open Disk
DVD (dvdsimple://F:)
Advanced Options
Stream/Save is checked.
Click on Settings... button
What the heck do I do now?
Outputs are File, Http, mmsh, rtp and UDP
What do I put in here to get video to the mvpmc?
Encapsulation Method, which one?
Transcoding options, mp2v @ 1024 kb/s and mp2a @ 192 kb/s
Miscelaneous ?? Duuno?
Can anyone, just tell me what to check and what to type. I've been trying this now off and on for about 6 to 8 months, I can not get ANY video to stream to my mvpmc.
