You are saying that the same package installs fine on some machines and
fails to install on others? Any strange messages apart from the
  ./+INSTALL: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/munin-node.sh: not found
you mentioned? Any clue if there is a common factor to the machines
where the package installation fails?

Sorry, I have no idea why this isn't working. You should probably take
this to the FreeBSD ports mailing list. The people there may be better
able to diagnose this.
