Hello, though I fear this is rather a question for the rrdtool users' list (or more a matter of reading rrdtool's docs for graphing) I dare bothering you with this question. I would like to place up to five graphs in one chart. In the "How to write Munin plugins" there is an example of charting NIC in and outbound octets. From that example I would gather that one needs to give as config output repeated "{fieldname}.graph no" statements to enforce a kind of layered redrawing. In the attributes' description it says that "{fieldname}.graph yes" is implicitly assumed. So would something like such do? (leaving out the other layer-irrelevant attributes here) graph.order data1 data2 data3 data4 data5 data2.graph no data3.graph no data4.graph no data5.graph no Is it further necessary to pass graph_args to rrdtool for line type or color selection, or would Munin automagically chose different colors for each data set?
