#77 random geometry problems

I will open several tabs. Some of the tabs geometry
settings seem to be the default geometry. I open the
tabs with a 140x40 geometry, but sometimes ,some tabs
get real confused and open with the original default
settings. So you end up with a window that is 140x40
but only displaying 80x24.

For example,

I open 7 tabs in a window with 140x40 geometry. Tabs #2
and #6 are messed up and appear to be using the
default geometry. If I close tab #6 and #7, then open
a new tab(#6) it is still messed up, but the new #7 is
ok. It seems like the tab with the problem retains its
problem even after it is closed and then reopened.
