[Mtx-general] Problem with Dell PowerVault 128T Tape Library

Got an intel Linux box (RedHat 9.0) with the tape drive (in the subject)
connected. Downloaded mtx1.2.17rel and installed it.

Now I have this problem that when I try using the command:

(/dev/sg5 is the changer)
mtx -f /dev/sg5 status

I wait for ages and get the message:

no Data Transfer Element reported.

Funny thing is that I had no problem using the same tapedrive and the same
version of mtx on my old machine (intel RH 8.0)

Hope someone can help ;-)
