Hi Dmitry, > Just committed some improvements to gcc > and new assembler option to msp430-objdump. > This allows to produce IAR compatible assembly file from an object one: > msp430-objdump -dSt --disassembler-options=IAR [objfile] > Thanks to Steven Johnson <sjo...@ne...>. > I've just tried this (about 3 hours after receiving this post), but I'm not getting anything more out of objdump than the previous version. I've done a full cvs-download and rebuild of binutils and gcc, but as far as I can see, Steven's patches are not there (my understanding of cvs and patching is slim, but steadily improving, so I might be doing something wrong). Should there not be an "elf.c" file in binutils/binutils-2.11/bfd, downloaded from the cvs server? When I look at the "bfd/elf.c" file in the patched gcc tree, there is no mention of the IAR flag which I see when looking at Steven's patches. I suppose I could try to apply Steven's patches manually, but since you said they were integrated in the main cvs, then that sounds like the easiest route for me. Incidently, am I correct in thinking that the cvs command : cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/mspgcc co binutils will download all new files as needed? Or does it just update files that are already there, in which case it is safest for me to delete the entire download directory before doing a full rebuild? Many thanks. David Brown Norway |
