Mac install requires you that you enable permissions on the executable after you download it or else you will be greeted with a requester that says the application is not safe and that it was downloaded from sourceforge.net. You can bypass that if you CTRL+LMB->Open on it the first time you run it. That will bypass Apple's security mechanisms for notarized applications and allow you to run mrViewer as usual.
