#1661 MRBS - after migrated getting issue

We have to install the newest version of the MRBS 1.7.

Now we need to migrate the database from MRBS ver 1.4.10 to the MRBS 1.7. After migrating from oldest version to the new version, we get an error as "the database need to be upgraded. please backup your database before proceeding"

    That's not an error: it's part of the upgrade procedure. Just follow the instructions and the upgrade will be completed. In other words, take a backup of your database in case anything goes wrong and then enter your database username and password.

    I've now committed a change to the code which makes the upgrade message look less like an error message, so hopefully it will be less confusing in future.

    To migrate the database from one server to another you can use something like phpMyAdmin's Export and Import tools. But if you mean upgrade it from one version of MRBS to another then follow the instructions in the UPGRADE document.
